JAX Essential Series are for efficiency. Rather than using memory heavy UI toolkits, the interfaces are freely scalable vector drawing parametric editors, which use low memory footprint. The audio effects are of top notch quality, have unified parameters and everything can be assigned directly to MIDI controllers ( MIDI enabled audio effects – aumf ).
JAX Essential Series have the following key features :

- inbuilt preset management and factory sets

If you are looking for more luxurious audio units, we prepared many new releases for our JAX ONE Series, superior audio units (3D, analog modelled) and the unique JAX SR (selective frequency range) series, with selected audio effects and extended functions.
The brand new items in the Essential Series scheduled are :
- JAX Reverb, our answer to these numerous reverberation effects out there, our finest reverb with ultra long and lush dimension and freeze
- JAX Delay, the flexible stereo delay with efficient sound control, which also can create ultra short comb filter alike effects or metallic spaces
- JAX Squasher, our state of the art, ultra easy loudness squasher without latency
- JAX Shaper, the multi mode wave shaping and saturation / drive effect for adding flavor, excitement and loudness perception
JAX ONE Series are using real 3D environments (pre-order release out)
We implemented zoom, movement and realtime lighting in our new series JAX ONE.
Therefore a new beta is in preparation and will be published soon available. Please note that our beta versions are subject of closing public access after a certain product introduction period.
The app was released in the Apple Appstore now for pre-order.
( The length of these introduction periods are sales dependent. If there is no ‘user support’, the prices usually will raise and/or the products may become discontinued. Sorry to say that, but we are not that kind ‘price drop bitches’ of developers. We deliver quality and continued service. If you are a price drop junky from the audiobus forum, waiting for the next giant monthly price drop, please search for other suppliers, because this won’t happen with us. ^^ )

We just uploaded the latest update for restoring parameters on load.

- A problem with restoring parameters on load with some hosts was finally! solved. We implemented a double mechanism now for ensuring parameter restore upon unit load.
- We corrected the appstore descriptions.
Mac Catalyst versions (Intel) are no longer supported across our entire collection. Our plugins will support all modern Apple Silicon devices and platforms as long this is possible.Special Message:

JAX 3Verb ( JAX Triple Series – release and update 4.0 )
We released JAX 3Verb today. More information is here.
We also provided an update/upgrade to our latest release. But obviously the Apple Servers have an erectile dysfunction. It was just impossible to proceed in time.
JAX Triple Series : 3Verb ( super universal release scheduled )
We uploaded JAX 3Verb to the AppStore for review. The AudioUnit (AUv3) will be available the soon the app gets approved.
NOTE: It is HIGHLY recommended to read the embedded manual for the JAX 3Verb, just for understanding the concept!

JAX ONE – Frequency Shifter Extended (scheduled super universal release)
From prototyping to release…
It’s obviously completely without any importance and/or interest what we are publishing.
The above picture is the 3D prototype, made with a 3D Modelling program. The below picture is the model loaded into the app with Apples frameworks. We think, the result is nice and can be shown.
Our new user interfaces for the JAX ONE series are all based on real 3D environments and will render all graphics in realtime. Rather than using stitched still images captured from parallel camera projection, the 3D views allow any projection and movement of lights and so on, although this may be limited for useful perspectives finally.
Because users of audio units are probably not able to navigate a 3D space with their sausage fingers precisely in conjunction with making music. Users always complained about our user interfaces, rather wanting Excel spreadsheets as user interfaces. ^^
However, we have a completely different philosophy and we always love trying out and experimenting with new solutions.
The first (closed) beta version integrates the Shifter module and the Delay module. The video demonstrates the possibilities alone with these two modules active. The entire signal flow is stereophonic!, note that the original Bode frequency shifter is basically just a mono effect, which can output 2 signals (for downshift and upshift). For the (possibly) public beta we will now integrate and connect the LFO and the Envelope Follower modules.

JAX Essential Series : Frequency Shifter (announcement)
We built a new item for our Essential Series collection. The JAX Frequency Shifter, which is a stereo effect modelled after the famous Bode Frequency shifter ( was an analog mono effect for modular environments ).
A first frequency shifter for iOS is available since years with the release of our JAF Collection. This one here is real stereo and has the ability to separate lower and upper frequency parts with the ‘balance’ slider.
We will release more Essential Series effects soon. Including one of our best algorithmic reverberators.
3 Public Betas for JAX Selective Range [SR] released
We released 3 new public beta versions for our Selective Range Series:
The apps need to be approved by the Apple review teams. We will link the downloads (Apple TestFlight) as soon as available on our Beta Tests page.
Note: JAX Essential Series and JAX Selective Range Series use completely different models for the modiulation effects ‘Chorus’, ‘Flanger’ and ‘Phaser’.
