JAX ONE Reverb & JAX ONE Delay (super universal releases)

We added two items for our new JAX ONE Series, the JAX ONE Delay and JAX ONE Reverb to the AppStore review. These two items were available for pre-order this month (June 2024) and are now at final price. Our releases are super universal, available on all Apple Silicon devices, including the Mac, so the price is more than fair and not really comparable with the average iOS releases.

12,99 USD (pre-order) , 24,99 USD (final price)

Super Universal.
Available on all Apple Silicon with ONE Price.

More items in the JAX One series are in preparation. JAX One XModulator and JAX J(M)AX are scheduled for release in Juli 2024. Do not miss the preorders once again ! Take a look at our current enchilada of TestFlight releases too …

Update 2.02 for JAX ONE Frequency Shifter (released)

An update for our first JAX ONE release was submitted. We applied several significant changes.

Update version 2.02

  • we corrected the logarithmic scaling (default), because it was actually scaled linearly and equal to mode 3 (‘linear’).
please note that the new scaling in default mode does drastically alter the modulation results.
  • a shift reset problem was corrected.
some host apps call a reset when temporary bypassing the effect. this way the value was reset to zero.
  • we corrected a problem (popping) with signal discontinuity due to separated stereo delay processors for up- and down-shift.
note: there still may be a minor click when crossing the zero position with the shift parameter, this lies in nature of things and we are looking for a possible solution. the Bode shifter therefore is uni-directional in some scaling modi, not consequently bi-directional like our frequency shifter is.
  • a minor change was made for the location for the factory presets
  • we extended the manual for using contrast and zoom controls with the 3D user interface

Note:
Many users obviously mismatch pitch shifting with frequency shifting. But this are completely different approaches, please read the documentation. Frequency shifters can produce great sonic results, especially with drums, basses and pad sounds, sounds that are not even possible with pitch shifting. we recomnmend to do some research and watching some of the many youtube videos about the classic Bode frequency shifter and its usage’.

Please note, that we have scheduled 2 new sophisticated JAX ONE items in (this) month June. The introduction and preorder prices will raise to the final shortly after release. The current public betas for testing will regularly time out after max. 90 days.

Next to our JAX ONE releases a complete series of JAX [Selective Range] is finally scheduled for successive release. Our concept for using an interactive touch based selective frequency range processing is quite unique and should not be ignored.

JAX ONE Series are using real 3D environments (pre-order release out)

We implemented zoom, movement and realtime lighting in our new series JAX ONE.

Therefore a new beta is in preparation and will be published soon available. Please note that our beta versions are subject of closing public access after a certain product introduction period.

The app was released in the Apple Appstore now for pre-order.

( The length of these introduction periods are sales dependent. If there is no ‘user support’, the prices usually will raise and/or the products may become discontinued. Sorry to say that, but we are not that kind ‘price drop bitches’ of developers. We deliver quality and continued service. If you are a price drop junky from the audiobus forum, waiting for the next giant monthly price drop, please search for other suppliers, because this won’t happen with us. ^^ )

JAX ONE – Frequency Shifter Extended (scheduled super universal release)

From prototyping to release…

It’s obviously completely without any importance and/or interest what we are publishing.

The above picture is the 3D prototype, made with a 3D Modelling program. The below picture is the model loaded into the app with Apples frameworks. We think, the result is nice and can be shown.

Our new user interfaces for the JAX ONE series are all based on real 3D environments and will render all graphics in realtime. Rather than using stitched still images captured from parallel camera projection, the 3D views allow any projection and movement of lights and so on, although this may be limited for useful perspectives finally.

Because users of audio units are probably not able to navigate a 3D space with their sausage fingers precisely in conjunction with making music. Users always complained about our user interfaces, rather wanting Excel spreadsheets as user interfaces. ^^

However, we have a completely different philosophy and we always love trying out and experimenting with new solutions.

The first (closed) beta version integrates the Shifter module and the Delay module. The video demonstrates the possibilities alone with these two modules active. The entire signal flow is stereophonic!, note that the original Bode frequency shifter is basically just a mono effect, which can output 2 signals (for downshift and upshift). For the (possibly) public beta we will now integrate and connect the LFO and the Envelope Follower modules.

JAX ONE – Frequency Shifter Extended public beta (Apple TestFlight)

JAX ONE – Frequency Shifter Extended will be available as pre-order with an introduction price of 17,99 (regular price 24,99) and is available on all Apple Silicon platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, visionOS).
