JAX Essential Series : Continuation

The JAX Essential Series will get completed with 4 additional essential audio units. After AppStore review these items will be available for download on our beta test page.

  • JAX De/Saturator : This very special effect has one bi-directional main parameter, which is able to de-saturate or saturate any waveform. It also has an impact to the loudness perception.
  • JAX Tube Flavour : Will add some gentle analog warmth to the audio stream with adjustable flavour.
  • JAX Comb Filter : The classic ultra short and tune-able delay effect with several different modi to choose.
  • JAX Ring Modulator : The classic cross modulation effect with integrated oscillators and different waveforms for selection.
  • JAX Static Phaser : A multi stage phaser, which does not continuously move with an LFO like usually but is freely adjustable and parameter-modulate-able.

3 AudioUnits [SR Series] are scheduled for release

The JAX [SR] Chorus, JAX [SR] Phaser and JAX [SR] Flanger modulation effects with selective frequency range are scheduled for release in the Apple AppStore. The items will be available for purchase across the rest of month June 2024.

There are TestFlight demos for all Apple Silicon platforms available, including the Mac (Apple Silicon).

Note About Apple Silicon Compatibility

All of our latest releases (over 25 apps alone this year) are made ‚super universal‘, which is our term for describing availability on all Apple Silicon platforms, iOS / iPadOS / macOS / visionOS (iOS compatibility mode). Our audio units are tested with the Apple ‚auval‘ tool. If auval tool fails in rare cases, these are all unspecific, not reconstructable reasons inside this buggy validation tool but the units usually can be enabled explicitly, which requires Logic Pro. ( Apples auval tool is well known for generating false validation reports and doing stupid things and also mostly generating cryptic and brainless descriptions. )

We are extending our Essential Series with 4 new sophisticated items.

JAX Essential Series are for efficiency. Rather than using memory heavy UI toolkits, the interfaces are freely scalable vector drawing parametric editors, which use low memory footprint. The audio effects are of top notch quality, have unified parameters and everything can be assigned directly to MIDI controllers ( MIDI enabled audio effects – aumf ).
